Brandon Courban is an experienced private equity and venture capital investor with 25 years of relevant experience, specializing in the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions.

His career has spanned the asset life cycle from early stage through to mid-market growth and to yield through multiple industries, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure, clean energy and climate friendly manufacturing and services.

He is currently a Senior Adviser at Actis and a Senior Adviser (Infrastructure) to Muzinich on their private credit strategies, and previously held executive and advisory roles at TotalEnergies, Olympus Capital, and Macquarie Capital among others. He also advises institutional investors on their Asia-Pacific strategies for climate and sustainability thematics across private equity, private credit and venture capital. Selectively he is involved as a seed investor and adviser to regional scale ups working on the planet’s most pressing challenges. Brandon also serves as a board member at EB Impact.

He started his career as an engineer at Mott MacDonald and holds a UK Chartered Engineer (CEng) designation, as well as an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire.

Based in Singapore, he has a multilingual background from a childhood in West Africa, including fluency in Bahasa Indonesia.
