Openspace is thrilled to have been recognised by the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SVCA) with the Fundraise of the Year Award.
The award was given for the successful close of our third fund (OSV3) earlier in 2021, which continues to deploy capital into early-stage Southeast Asian companies creating a transformative impact where tech meets life. During the ceremony yesterday, it was emphasised that Openspace had achieved this despite the challenges of the pandemic – demonstrating LPs continuing confidence in Openspace and its team.
In accepting the award, Shane Chesson, thanked SVCA as well as our LPs. He also reflected on the role that our founder family, IR team and operations team play in creating the value that enables successful fundraising.
In a video, Hian Goh also summed up what we believe how Openspace is able to accelerate the bold visions of our founders and companies:
