What do you do here at Openspace?
As an office administrator, my day is a whirlwind of tasks and responsibilities.
👩🏻🍳 As the office pantry wizard, I wave my wand of deliciousness, conjuring up a magical selection of everyone's favorite snacks, drinks, and food, ensuring that our pantry is always stocked with happiness and culinary delights that keep our colleagues fueled and smiling throughout the day!
⌨ With my lightning-fast typing skills, I tackle each message with precision, sorting and responding to them like a pro. Urgent matters? Consider them handled in record time!
🛫 With my superpowers of flight-booking finesse, I soar through the virtual skies, securing the best deals and weaving a web of rescheduling wizardry, ensuring that our colleagues' travel plans take off smoothly and reach new heights of flexibility and convenience!
🦸♀️ Next, it's time to put on my personal assistant cape. Managing calendars is another one of my superpowers, ensuring that meetings, appointments, and deadlines are seamlessly organized and scheduled.
🎉 But wait, what's that sound? It's the signal for an upcoming event that needs planning! As part of the events planning team, I channel my creative energy into designing the most unforgettable experiences. With teamwork, I unleash my creativity to conceptualize themes, brainstorm activities, and scout the perfect venues.
🥁 As the event day approaches, I coordinate and prepare, ensuring that everything is in place like a perfectly orchestrated symphony. People arrive, laughter fills the air, and the event comes to life. I'm everywhere, solving problems, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
💪🏻 With a smile on my face, I prepare to face another day, ready to conquer any challenge that comes my way.
Why did you join Openspace?
I joined Openspace because it has a reputation for being a great place to work, with a positive and supportive environment.
The opportunity to work alongside amazing colleagues and face exciting challenges was attractive to me, as I am eager to learn and grow both personally and professionally. Openspace is also about giving back to the community, which I love! 🤍
The role itself also perfectly aligns with my aspirations, encompassing everything I have been passionate about and eager to explore.
What is one unexpected thing about you?
🤳🏻 I used to be a full-time live streamer on Twitch, where I achieved Twitch Partner status.
During that time, I organized and hosted international TETR.IO competitions, raised funds for various charities, and engaged in thrilling First Person Shooting games such as VALORANT, Overwatch, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and Left 4 Dead 2.
This unique experience even garnered attention from multiple news media outlets in Singapore, where I was featured and recognized for my contributions. You can view them here!
Who's someone you’ve always wanted to meet?

His ability to touch people's lives and bring joy is truly inspiring. Moreover, what sets him apart is his remarkable use of the wealth he has earned.
From planting millions of trees to supporting charitable causes and surprising people with life-changing gifts, Mr Beast's generosity knows no bounds.
Meeting him would not only be a dream come true, but also an opportunity to witness firsthand the incredible impact one person can make through compassion and resourcefulness.
I would love to be able to be like him — positively impacting people — even if at a smaller scale.

📚 I learn something new everyday from my amazing colleagues through everyday conversations and hands-on experiences. I have grown a lot working here, even though it has only been 4 months.
Do you have a particularly interesting or memorable highlight of working here?
🤗 Our recent Offsite 2023 to Ho Chi Minh City! It was a lovely experience being part of the planning team and seeing the Offsite come to life after months of preparation. It was particularly heartwarming to gather everyone from regional offices as we spent time with one another to learn, and have fun together!
What's a really good piece of advice that you've received from someone in the office?
“When things get a bit hard, step away from your computer for 5 to 10 minutes. Take 5 minutes to breathe, take a walk, or hide in the toilet even. It will help to clear your mind. No one can control things from breaking down, and it is not your fault. You don’t have to fix everything. Being unable to fix some things is normal. Just call the hotline for help. That is part of fixing things.”
As someone who is very hard on herself, thank you to the person who has given me this advice, for I keep it etched in my brain and try to apply the advice every day. 🥰
