Alessia's journey began with the warm welcome she received from the team during her interview. Now, as part of our dynamic environment, that sense of connection has only grown stronger!
What do you do here at Openspace?
I am part of the Investors Relations team here at Openspace, and I cover all things related to LPs - from maintaining relationships with our existing LPs to creating new ones with LPs we have not had much interaction with yet.
Why did you join Openspace?
What struck me when I first interviewed with Openspace was by how warmly I was received and I even got to meet a couple of people on the wider Openspace team who were not my interviewers. I was also at a point in my life where I wanted a new challenge when I came across the position at Openspace.
What is one unexpected thing about you?
I picked up longboarding last year - it’s something I’ve always wanted to do but never really got around to.
Who's someone you’ve always wanted to meet?
Halsey - have been a fan and in awe of her artistry since the golden age of Tumblr.
What's one thing you really like about working here?
Definitely the people! It’s nice to be in a space where everyone is driven but collaborative.
Do you have a particularly interesting or memorable highlight of working here?
SuperReturn week was insane - it started with our F1 social on Saturday and then it was a week of running back and forth between the office and MBS for meetings on top of other day-to-day work, followed by events in the evenings. Really glad to have made new connections, especially those who flew in from overseas!
What's a really good piece of advice that you've received from someone in the office?
Be friends with everybody.
If you were to make an Openspace pizza, what's your chosen topping?
Parma ham, arugula and burrata 🍕
